Growing Up Agrarian

We are four Christian, homechurched, homeschooled, homesteading, agrarian children growing up in Central Texas on a Ranch. We are Tracy,(15) Jennifer,(10) Robert,(9) and Sarah(5) Bunker. We also have one more brother, Thomas Shepard Bunker, who is in the courts of glory. We like to read books, raise animals, and play on the land. Tracy will be writing about the stuff we do. We hope you enjoy our Adventures!

Bunker Bunnies

Hello

We have done all of our Sabbath chores except clean the camper and fill the lanterns today. We picked up trash from the woods, put up all of the toy trucks and wagons, did all the dishes, and watered the goats and chickens. We have been doing chores all day and hope to have a nice Sabbath.

Last night we went to a party at the Ante's house, celebrating their first year on the land. We had piggies in a blanket ( little sausages wrapped in cresent rolls) chips and salsa, spinach and artichoke dip, and lemonade. Robert and Jennifer and Sarah played Butterfly Bingo with Mom and the Ante children, and Tracy played Cranium with on Mrs. and Mr. Ante's and Mr. Woods' team. That was very fun and the women might play it on Sunday after the meal while the men are playing horseshoes.

The bunnies are doing well, growing and are covered in white fur. They are very cute and we think one might be a male. If so he will be named San Jose'. A female will be named Santa Maria. Their parents are Santa Claira (mom) and San Diego (dad). They will be 4 pounds on Feb. 23rd. We are hoping to post pictures of them.

Well, more chores are waiting!
Later,
The Bunker Children

Sounds like all of you are working very hard and are such a blessing to your parents. I had a rabbit once, a few years ago. This rabbit of mine had ears so big he would trip over them. He loved to run and then slide when I brought him indoors. I think it is wonderful that you are learning the psalms in song, a wonderful way to learn the scriptures. Hope to meet you all some day.
